The event took place at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, NC and Kennington along with the race team were acknowledged for their tremendous season in which they set records for most victories and most top five finishes in a single season and Kennington claimed his second NASCAR Canadian Tire Series title. J.R. Fitzpatrick knew he was going to have his hands full keeping Andrew Ranger behind him on Saturday’s final lap. Turns out, he didn’t have to worry as a final lap caution allowed the Ayr, Ontario, driver of the No. 84 Equipment Express Chevrolet to sail across the finish line under a yellow-checkered to claim the NAPA AUTOPRO 100 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1.

Dilley was running third on the green-white-checkered finish when Kerry Micks tapped race leader J.R. Fitzpatrick in Turn 1. Fitzpatrick spun and Dilley got past Micks to claim his third career victory.
