Hornaday earns his first career win at Martinsville
It’s fair to say Ron Hornaday clocked Kyle Busch on Saturday at Martinsville Speedway
No, Hornaday didn’t knock Busch around the race track during the Kroger 200 Truck Series race at the .526-mile short track. Instead, he beat Busch to the checkered flag to win for the first time at Martinsville, coincidentally the first time the track’s coveted grandfather clock trophy — in the past the exclusive province of Cup winners — has been awarded in the Truck Series.
Scott stayed out on old tires and took the lead on the final restart with about 10 laps to go and pulled away from Dennis Setzer to win the AAA Insurance 200 on Saturday at Dover.
