Though it seems the summer season in Canadian racing has just begun, the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship reached its halfway point on Sunday as the Rotax masses were contesting six classes at PSL Karting Trois-Rivieres. An even one hundred were on hand for race number three following a practice day Friday and a round of the Quebec Cup on Saturday.







All winter and spring planning comes to fruition today as the 2011 Eastern Canadian Karting Championship gets underway at Goodwood Kartways in Stouffville, Ontario. The finest karters from Ontario through the Maritimes are already on hand at the fabled circuit, set for a full day of Official Testing today before a doubleheader race weekend Saturday and Sunday.
Prime Kartsport certainly went out in style at the 2010 Florida Winter Tour a week ago as the first-year operation produced its best weekend to date. The CRG squad ran to five podiums at Ocala Gran Prix, and now heads to the Canadian karting season with incredible momentum and in the highest of spirits. 
Four members of the GreenSpeed karting team returned to the sunshine state for round two of the 2010 Florida Winter Tour Rotax Max Challenge. Held at the renewed Palm Beach International Raceway, just north of West Palm Beach, the team earned two podiums and continued to gain momentum towards the final event in late March.

It was the one were we crowned the 2009 champions of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals. Before the beginning of the final round, our best chance for a podium was in the DD2 class with Darren White and Daniel Morad. Here the review of the day.
Once again, Team Canada will be in force in the DD2 class, not only because of the number of drivers (5), but by the quality of the drivers. Last year, two Canadian drivers in DD2 finished in the top 7 (Pier-Luc Ouellette 2nd, and Christophe Boisclair 7th) while Scott Campbell and Darren White also qualified for the final round.
With strong runs in several classes as they look toward 2010. Pserra Racing recently returned home from Las Vegas with new experiences and new opportunities for the 2010 racing season. The Pserra Racing Team made good use of their Birel chassis and fielded one of the strongest Birel efforts at the SuperNationals.
