Vincec took a pass on the Rotax World Finals to return to the Rio
The World’s #1 CRG dealer is prepped for an assault on North America’s main event this week as Team PSL Karting is on site in Las Vegas at karting mecca – SKUSA SuperNationals XV. Over twenty drivers strong and registered in seven categories, the Canadian-based outfit that supports drivers from around the globe will look to secure a sixth headline victory for CRG and end another season in winning style.

The eyes of Canadian racing are about to return to Quebec as the City of Trois-Rivieres is getting set to host the 42nd Edition of the famed Grand Prix Trois-Rivieres at Exposition Park. Annually attracting the likes of Firestone Indy Lights, Star Mazda and the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, this year someone new is jumping the cue and its Le Monaco de Trois-Rivieres – Canada’s most unique kart race. The event is making a move from the waterfront to the site of GP3R and is doing so in a very big way, kicking off race week!

PSL Karting announces PSL USA
Mere months after being named the #1 CRG dealer in the World at the company’s traditional End-of-Season Awards Ceremony, PSL Karting has come up with its first major encore act: The formation of PSL USA! No longer limited to Eastern Canada, PSL is now free to expand its dealer network into the United States and across North America.

PSL Montreal grand opening May 1st.
The World’s #1 CRG dealer is expanding its empire once again as PSL Montreal is set for Grand Opening Celebrations this coming May 1st. Based at Circuit ICAR, PSL Montreal will be managed by racing veteran Louis-Philippe Gelinas and will offer the extensive product line and expert track support system that has come to be synonymous with PSL Karting.

Team PSL Karting attacked Superkarts! USA SuperNationals XIV with a massive effort a week ago as the fabled CRG squad prepped eighteen drivers from four countries at the biggest celebration of shifter karting on the planet. PSL then put a pair on the podium on Super Sunday, as both Fritz Leesmann and Emilio Padron finished second in S1 and G1 respectively. PSL had drivers in eight of eleven SuperNats classes, and was surely one of the busiest teams in the paddock.

McCaughan grabs Sportsmanship
Final day of racing action sees Wheeler take Rotax Senior Max title and final invite to Team Canada as McCaughan grabs Sportsmanship Award. The Western Canadian Challenge (WCC) continued to be blessed with great racing and fantastic weather. The summer prairie sun was hot all day as temperatures neared the 30-degree Celsius mark by mid afternoon under clear blue skies.

Rookie Arie Ouimet is off the a great start in the VW Jetta TDI Cup season – earning top ten finishes in Rounds 1 & 2, which were held on the storied 3.27 mile road course at VIRginia International Raceway (VIR), April 24 – 25.

McEwan was a rain master on Sunday
Prime Kartsport certainly went out in style at the 2010 Florida Winter Tour a week ago as the first-year operation produced its best weekend to date. The CRG squad ran to five podiums at Ocala Gran Prix, and now heads to the Canadian karting season with incredible momentum and in the highest of spirits.

McEwan produced back-to-back top fives at round two.
Prime Kartsport has a second mass effort under its belt as the Hamilton-based squad was at Palm Beach International Raceway a week ago for the second round of the Florida Winter Tour Rotax Max Challenge. Eleven drivers were on hand to race four classes, and after two days of competition the CRG squad can celebrate its first podium runs and a number of top fives.

Canadian CRG importer stacks the deck against the rest of the competition for Vegas
The end of the 2009 year is approaching and with the weather turning from Fall to Winter conditions soon in the Quebec area, the PSL Karting team will begin its winter-long journey south to the United States. The first stop of the winter schedule for the Trois-Rivieres-based outfit will be the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals XIII outside the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Canadian importer for CRG products will have 22 drivers from around the world under the PSL Karting banner for the event, contesting five different divisions.

Quebec based Jesse Lazare had a solid outing at the recent Coupe du Quebec outing at Grand Mere, finishing on the podium in second place, but the top ranked Rotax Junior racer wasn’t thrilled with his performance.
Jesse Lazare captured his first pole on his new PSL Karting.com CRG this past weekend at the penultimate round of the Coupe du Quebec held at KCR Chateau Richer in Eastern Quebec.
