Former BMW and Mini pilot will co-drive #77 HPD Honda Civic Si starting at Watkins Glen
Compass360 Racing (C360R) today announced the addition of driver Sarah Cattaneo to the team’s four-car effort in Grand Am’s Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. Cattaneo will pilot the #77 Honda Performance Development Civic Si for the remainder of the 2012 season, including this weekend’s race at the Watkins Glen International track.

Compass360 Racing (C360R) is no stranger to winning on the high banks of Daytona International Speedway, having been on the Street Tuner podium four straight years from 2007 to 2010. To extend that impressive result the team has assembled a driver roster for this weekend’s Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race that’s arguably the strongest it’s ever had, counting three former series champions and one runner-up in the squad.

Duo bring home the top-finishing Honda keeping team’s championship hopes alive
Ryan Eversley and co-driver Simon Pagenaud knew they faced an uphill battle at Laguna Seca, despite the recent removal of a series-mandated inlet restrictor. “Laguna’s a track that favours the rear-wheel-drive cars, and even with the restrictor gone, the Honda is still far from the fastest front-wheel-drive platform as the results show,” explained Eversley.

Compass360 Racing has added some more top drivers to their Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Championship effort, with John Kuitwaard and Bob Beede having been signed to drive the team’s Hondas for the race at Lime Rock Park this Memorial Day weekend.

Team tops podium at home track double-header; Sandberg takes third place on Sunday
Last weekend Lawson Aschenbach hoped to maintain his World Challenge championship lead with strong performances at Compass360 Racing’s home track, Mosport International Raceway. The Toronto-based team brought two Honda Civic Si’s to the race course, ready to do battle with the strong Touring Car-class field; #71 for Aschenbach and the #70 for Brett Sandberg in his second start for the squad.

After a challenging start to his World Challenge year at the season-opening event at St. Petersburg, Florida, New Jersey-based driver Brett Sandberg will return to the series behind the wheel of the Compass360 Racing #70 Honda Civic Si for the series’ next race, at Miller Motorsports Park, Utah.

Compass360 Racing (C360R) launched its new World Challenge Touring Car program in style this weekend, with 2006 WC GT Champion Lawson Aschenbach leading the team’s three-car effort to victory in Round One on Saturday, and following that up with a strong second-place finish during Sunday’s Round Two, driving the #71 Honda Civic Si Coupe.

Consistent Podium Finisher to Pair with Carroll for Championship Run
Hot on the heels of the announcement of the drivers of the team’s #74 car, Compass360 Racing today revealed that Keith Carroll will pair with Ryan Eversley in the #75 Honda Civic Si for the 2011 Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge season. Eversley, who finished fourth driving #75 in last year’s Street Tuner-class driver standings will co-drive with Carroll, no stranger to the Grand-Am paddock, having driven a Porsche Cayman in 2010.

Team Retains Championship Lead with Strong Finish in Connecticut
Compass360 Racing (C360R) took two of the three podium positions at the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge event at Lime Rock Park this past weekend, marking a record-breaking string of five consecutive top-three finishes for a single team. Lawson Aschenbach and David Thilenius, co-driving the team’s #74, were second, with Ryan Eversley and Zach Lutz in third.
