Today the promoters of the NAPA Auto Parts 200 presented by Dodge announced that for the first time ever, 14 drivers competing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series will take part in a one hour autograph session this Saturday.

Caught in a battle to the finish with Elliott Sadler for the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series Driver title, Reed Sorenson from Georgia is intrigued by Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve where, at the NAPA Auto Parts 200 Presented by Dodge, he will be challenged for the first time by the famed road course. During the August 19-20 event, the eight-year series veteran will be discovering the Montréal track at the wheel of his Turner Racing #32 Chevrolet.

Octane Racing Group announces that all grandstand tickets for the 2011 edition of the Grand Prix du Canada have been sold. As of 5 pm on Thursday, only one-day or three-day general admission tickets are available for the event.

Another of the world’s most prestigious single-marque competition series, the Porsche IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge by Yokohama, will complete the 2011 Grand Prix du Canada support-race program next June 10, 11 and 12.

Octane Racing Group, promoter of the Canadian Grand Prix, is happy to announce that this weekend’s event will held in front of a sold-out crowd. At 3 p.m. today (Thursday), the box office closed operations for the most important sporting event in Canada. On Friday June 11, tickets for the 2011 Canadian Grand Prix will go on sale at the Grand Prix box office.
