Level 5, Team Falken Tire come up big in Baltimore – Wild finish to unpredictable street race
Christophe Bouchut and Scott Tucker led a 1-2 finish for Level 5 Motorsports at the Baltimore Sports Car Challenge presented by SRT on Saturday, the team’s second overall win in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón this year.

The American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón starts its summer swing – six races over the next 11 weeks – with round four at Lime Rock Park July 6-7, the ninth annual Northeast Grand Prix. It’s got one of the biggest grids ever for this event: 32 entries made up of 15 prototypes and 17 GT cars.

Turner delivers GT pole for Aston Martin Racing
A home race for Muscle Milk Pickett Racing will see the team start on pole position. Klaus Graf was the fastest qualifier for the American Le Mans Monterey presented by Patrón on Friday with a lap of 1:13.573 (109.508 mph) in his Honda Performance Development ARX-03a prototype.

Canadian racer seeking his first podium in Daytona Prototypes
The 2011 racing season is getting underway and Toronto’s Mark Wilkins is all set to head to Florida for the 49th running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the leadoff race in the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series. This is Wilkins eighth straight appearance at the Rolex 24 where he recorded podium finishes in 2004 (3rd – SGS) and 2005 (3rd – GT).

Brabs brilliant in stunning damp qualifying battle
Patrón Highcroft Racing’s David Brabham won a stunning wet qualifying session Friday at Lime Rock Park for his second overall pole position in the American Le Mans Northeast Grand Prix. Brabham turned in a best lap of 58.106 (92.934 mph) in the HPD ARX-01c that he will drive with Simon Pagenaud. He outpaced Muscle Milk Team CytoSport’s Klaus Graf by 0.64 seconds.

In American Le Mans Series action Saturday at Long Beach Grand Prix
Genoa Racing recorded its second podium finish in as many races in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patron when drivers J.R. Hildebrand and Tom Sutherland finished third in the LMPC class and seventh overall Saturday at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

First overall FQ for Mexican racing legend
Adrian Fernandez made himself quite at home – again – at the historic Long Beach circuit Friday. The Mexican racing legend captured his first overall pole position in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón with a lap of 1:13.213 (96.770 mph) in Aston Martin Racing’s Lola-Aston Martin prototype coupe for the Tequila Patrón American Le Mans Series at Long Beach.

Defending P2 race-winner quickest among combined LMP runners
The confines of the historic Long Beach circuit proved friendly again for Adrian Fernandez. The Mexican star and veteran of 16 open-wheel and sports car races turned the fastest time in Friday morning’s opening practice for the Tequila Patrón American Le Mans Series at Long Beach.

Tucker, Bouchut to pilot FLM09 for full-season effort

Level 5 Motorsports is the latest championship-winning team to confirm its entry into the American Le Mans Series’ Le Mans Prototype Challenge class for 2010. Based in Madison, Wis., Level 5 will compete in the full nine-round championship with ORECA’s FLM09 prototype.

Mark Wilkins of Toronto is returning to competition in the American Le Mans series this coming weekend joining Christophe Bouchut and Scott Tucker in the Level 5 Motorsports No. 55 FLM09 LMPC class. 
Kicking off the American Le Mans Series season, the 58th annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida takes the green flag at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 20. 
Bouchut joins team owner Scott Tucker and Ed Zabinski in the 47th running of the classic. 
Second in qualifying in the wet, triple FIA GT Champion Christophe Bouchut and his team-mate Xavier Maassen, from the Netherlands, took a fine win in Monza.
