Harley-Davidson in Canada, a class of its own!
Winds of change have hit the Canadian motorcycle racing world. Two brand new classes, namely the Amateur Superbike class and the much anticipated Harley-Davidson® XR 1200TM Cup, will have their debut in the upcoming 2011 racing season, which marks the 32nd anniversary of the National Superbike series.

Jordan Szoke made Canadian motorcycle racing history at Atlantic Motorsport Park on Sunday as he won the final round of the Parts Canada Superbike Championship. The victory gave the Brantford, Ont. rider a perfect season of seven race wins from seven starts.

Seven is the magic number for Brantford, Ont.’s Jordan Szoke as the 2010 Parts Canada Superbike Championship wraps up at Atlantic Motorsport Park this weekend. The 31-year-old rider is in position to lock up a record seventh Canadian Superbike crown at the 2.56km (1.6-mile) road course near Halifax.

Veteran Jordan Szoke (Waznie Racing / BMC Ciclo Werks / DeWildt Honda) held off young upstart Jodi Christie (Jodi Christie Racing / Durham Honda) to win the opening round of the Parts Canada Superbike Championship at Circuit ICAR near Montreal on Sunday.

Top Canadian racer Andrew Nelson will compete on board a BMW S 1000 RR in this year’s Parts Canada Superbike Championship. The resident of Kars, Ont., near Ottawa, will receive primary sponsorship from Orion Motorsports, the agent for the series’ spec tire supplier Pirelli, and BMW Motorrad Canada.

Canadian Kawasaki Motors has secured the services of Toronto-based Competition Systems to handle Kawasaki’s assault in the 2010 Parts Canada Superbike Championship. The team will consist of one rider and focus exclusively on the Superbike feature class with Kawasaki’s potent Ninja ZX-10R.
Jordan Szoke clinched his fifth straight Parts Canada Superbike Championship and seventh career national title in style with a victory in the penultimate round of the series at Atlantic Motorsport Park on Saturday.
