Raikkonen eyes lucrative sabbatical in 2010 – Massa to be father next week
Ferrari is still pushing hard to arrange a third formula one car for Michael Schumacher to race in 2010. BMW and Toyota now departed, Renault thinking about following suit and the famous Italian team scornful of the sport’s new entrants, Luca di Montezemolo has renewed his campaign to have the rules changed.

Production for 2010 has begun
After a series of fruitful test sessions and thousands of kilometres successfully completed in Mugello, Le Castellet and Barcelona, the technical definitions of the GP3 car are fixed and production has now commenced. The first cars will be delivered to the ten GP3 teams on schedule in January 2010.

At times last year, the team’s predecessor Honda had five wind tunnels at its disposal, according to Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport, as well as a half-billion euro budget.

Ferrari to focus on 2010 car ‘soon’
Luca di Montezemolo has now stepped away from hinting that Ferrari could field a works prototype in next year’s famous 24 hours Le Mans race. At the height of the FOTA teams’ power struggle with the FIA, the Ferrari president officially started June’s fabled Le Mans event and hinted that sports car racing is a real alternative to formula one for the Italian marque.
GP3 Series teams took delivery of their third and final cars this week, and they are now ready for the first official test on 4th 5th March at Circuit Paul Ricard. 
The F1 teams association FOTA has confirmed that plans for a common car launch for formula one teams at the end of next month have been scrapped. 
Toyota turned down an approach from one of F1′s new teams to sell the rights to its car design. It was reported last week that the completed TF110 was for sale, but an official of the Japanese outfit declined to comment.
