Go time for Kennington – Former champ ready for some oval racing action
With a sigh of relief, D.J. Kennington is ready jump into his comfort zone. The 2012 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series season started off with a pair of road-course events, but the Clarington 200 at the Speedway at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park near Bowmanville, Ont., on June 16 opens a three-race stretch of competition on oval tracks – the EMCO 200 on June 23 at Delaware (Ont.) Speedway and the A&W Cruisin’ The Dub 300 at Motoplex Speedway and Event Park in Vernon, B.C., on July 14 follow.
Canadian Tire continued its tradition of supporting Canadian motorsport today announcing title sponsorship of the Canadian Tire ASN Canada FIA Canadian Karting Championship, to be held August 18 – 22, 2010, at Le Circuit, Mont Tremblant, Quebec. In addition, Canadian Tire will be a sponsor of the Canadian team entry at the Rotax World Finals taking place November 15 – 21, 2010, at Muro Leccese in Italy. 
As part of the celebrations of the 375th of Trois-Rivieres and its eleventh edition, Le Monaco de Trois-Rivieres will be held at downtown in harbour park on july 25th-26th 2009. 
Canadian Tire Corporation and the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) announced today that Mobil 1, the world’s leading synthetic motor oil, has become the presenting sponsor for the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series.
