Bruno Spengler will join BMW Group Canada at this year’s Montreal International Auto Show to help welcome the new premieres, as well as to commerorate his recent DTM Drivers’ Championship. After a nearly 20 year hiatus from DTM, BMW Motorsport returned with great success, thanks in large part to Spengler and his teammates, claiming the drivers’, manufacturers’ and team titles. The 29 year-old Spengler has been active in DTM racing since 2005, and hopes to continue the success he had during the 2012 season.

Quadruple world champion Alain Prost was in Abu Dhabi last weekend for talks with the F1 chief executive about Paul Ricard’s race bid, and potential investors. But Ecclestone is quoted by Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport: “If we go to France (next year), it will be Magny Cours.”

Red Bull has hit back at the latest technical controversy by insisting Ferrari was the first on the grid with a hand-operated adjuster.
It emerged in Hungary last weekend that, weeks ago in Canada, the FIA told reigning champions Red Bull to stop using a device that in theory allowed mechanics to adjust the right-height of the car without using a tool.

A German magazine this week revealed that, in Canada, the FIA asked the reigning champions to remove a hand-adjustable damper system from the RB8.
