Wolff to ‘resolve conflict of interest’
Toto Wolff has admitted owning shares in Williams whilst working as F1 rival Mercedes’ director is a “conflict of interest”.
The 41-year-old Austrian changed teams over the winter, relinquishing his active role at Williams and buying into Brackley based Mercedes. But Wolff, whose wife is the Williams test driver Susie Wolff, still retains part-ownership of the Oxfordshire based team.

Button considered Toro Rosso move – Horner
Jenson Button considered switching to Toro Rosso at the end of 2008, Red Bull team boss Christian Horner has revealed.
Ultimately, after Honda announced its shock departure from the sport, Ross Brawn led a management buy-out of the Brackley based team, and Button went onto become 2009 world champion.

Toto Wolff, Mercedes’ new shareholder and director, has played down claims the Silver Arrows is a definite title contender for 2013.
The Brackley based team had played down its chances until the last two days of pre-season testing, when Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg stunned the paddock with the pace of the new W04.

McLaren confirms Lowe ‘moving to Mercedes’
Sam Michael, McLaren’s sporting director, has finally confirmed what the entire F1 paddock suspects — Paddy Lowe is heading to Mercedes.
It is a poorly-kept secret that 50-year-old Lowe, formerly McLaren’s technical director, has been placed on ‘gardening leave’ before he moves to Mercedes, perhaps to become the Brackley based team’s new boss in 2014.
