The Yamaha Champions Riding School at Miller Motorsports Park is adding an additional July school date to their current calendar. “We are excited about the interest we are getting in the school so early on,” said Daniel Short, manager of the Yamaha Champions Riding School.

Valentino Rossi will look to strengthen his lead at the head of the MotoGP standings as he returns to the scene of one of the pivotal wins of his 2008 campaign. With double triumph at Donington
Ben Spies (Yamaha World Superbike) pulled off another amazing double triumph in the ninth round of the Hannspree FIM Superbike World Championship in front of 61,000 spectators at Donington Park. The Texan has now reduced the 48 point gap at the top of the table to 14 from Noriyuki Haga (Ducati Xerox), who crashed in race 2, picking up a broken vertebra in the process.

Jordan Szoke ended Brett McCormick’s run of pole positions in the Parts Canada Superbike Championship at Race City Motorsport Park on Saturday. The Brantford, Ont. racer turned a lap at one minute, 15.126 seconds around the 3.2km (2.0-mile) course on his Canadian Kawasaki Motors Kawasaki ZX-10R during the Pirelli SuperPole session to earn his first $500 Inside Motorcycles Pole Position Award of the 2009 season.

At Donington Park this Sunday
The Ducati Xerox Team will cross the Channel tomorrow, just three days after completing Round 7 at Misano, to race this coming weekend at historic Donington Park, the scene of the first ever Superbike race held back in 1988 and won by now Ducati Xerox Team Manager Davide Tardozzi.
