AMA Pro GoPro Daytona Sportbike competitors battled unseasonably cool temperatures

19 year-old Canadian Ben Young earned 8th place in the 72nd running of the Daytona 200 aboard the #86 Tim Hortons-Sudbury/BYR Yamaha R6, his best finish yet in the AMA Pro GoPro Daytona Sportbike class.









As announced at this weekend’s North American International Motorcycle Supershow Canadian road racer Ben Young is excited to announce a new partnership with UK-based KICK Energy Drink for the 2013 AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike season. KICK Energy Drink is owned by Global Brands Limited in the United Kingdom and distributed in the US by Streamwood, IL’s Dolce Beverage Company LLC. 








Indiana-based Four Feathers Racing’s team principal Scotty Van Hawk has signed on to mentor and provide race strategy support to BYR / Fogi Racing’s development rider Ben Young for his debut at America’s most historic motorcycle event, the Daytona 200. Young, aboard his Tim Hortons-Sudbury/Yamaha R6 will take to the legendary Daytona International Speedway on March 15-17th 2012.
