Drivers not penalised after Spa carnage
No drivers were penalised for the crashes on the first lap of Sunday’s Belgian grand prix
Two separate incidents that occurred at the Les Combes corner were investigated by stewards: one between Jenson Button and Romain Grosjean, and another after which both Lewis Hamilton and Jaime Alguersuari also both retired from the race.
Last week, the Finn Kimi Raïkkönen mentioned that he had no hopes of winning the Belgium Grand Prix with his Ferrari. For his part Giancarlo Fisichella did not believe he could ever get BACK on the podium.
