Press tips ‘small advantage’ for Red Bull
Most leading specialist publications see Red Bull as the continuing pacesetter in formula one.
In their recent analysis, outlets including Auto Motor und Sport (Germany), La Gazzetta dello Sport (Italy) and Autosport (Britain) believe world champion Sebastian Vettel again resides the best car ahead of the 2012 season. “They still have an advantage, but it’s smaller,” agreed Jenson Button, according to Brazil’s O Estado de S.Paulo.

Schumacher snubbed in magazine’s top 50 drivers list
Drivers for all major motor racing series around the world are eligible for the top 50.
Michael Schumacher does not feature in an authoritative magazine’s ranking of the top 50 racing drivers of 2010. The editor of the British print magazine Autosport, often described as the ‘bible’ for motor sport fans, said the seven time world champion missed the cut because he “wasn’t very good” on his return to formula one this year.

Force India admits ‘seat available’ for 2011
Speculation swirled in the Singapore paddock two weeks ago
Vitantonio Liuzzi has played down rumours Force India is planning to replace him at the end of the season. Speculation swirled in the Singapore paddock two weeks ago that the Silverstone based team’s rookie ‘Friday’ driver Paul di Resta has secured a deal to move into a race cockpit in 2011.
Team boss Zoran Stefanovic has said that the 1997 world champion is close to a deal with the Serbian squad, which continues to push for a place in the 2010 Formula 1 field. 
Sauber is not yet showing on the FIA’s latest 2010 entry list. The governing body said in December that the Swiss team’s application to race this year in the place of the departed Toyota had been “successful”. 
Unlike the bulk of the established F1 teams, Red Bull will reportedly not appear with its new car at the first pre-season test at Valencia early next month.
