The second and final race of the 2014 inaugural weekend for the Atlantic Championship Series at Road Atlanta completed with Canadian Daniel Burkett, driving a K-Hill Motorsports’ Atlantic Car, turning his second pole position into a second win in dominating fashion.
All cars will carry SOS decals in 2012.

The new Atlantic Championship Series, operated by Formula Race Promotions, has appointed Joe Griffin as technical director.
Griffin brings years of Atlantic car experience to the Series, having been involved with the class going back to the Formula B days, and working for a former version of the Series from 1983 to 2006.

By moving the test to March, the teams can do the test and the race at Sebring in one trip.
Officials from the Cooper Tires Presents The Atlantic Championship Powered by Mazda announced today that series-sanctioned preseason testing has been rescheduled from January 22-24 at Sebring International Raceway to early March at a venue to be determined.
