After Andretti Autosport’s Sage Karam dominated every session at the USF2000 National Championship’s season-opening doubleheader at the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Patrick McKenna said he and his team, Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing, had some work to do if they wanted to stop Karam from doing the same thing on May 29 at the Night Before the 500 at O’Reilly Raceway Park here.
After a history-making 2009 Atlantic Championship season in which she became the winningest woman in series history, Simona De Silvestro had a successful two-day test in an HVM Racing/Team Stargate Worlds IndyCar at Sebring International Raceway last week with an eye toward a possible run in the 2010 IZOD IndyCar Series. “She was very impressive,” said HVM Racing owner Keith Wiggins.
