Di Grassi wins, Bia shines in Massa’s kart event
Four drivers tie in the standings after an epical battle for the title
Lucas di Grassi won, but Indycar ace Bia Figueiredo stole the show by grabbing the second heat at the International Challenge of Go-Kart Champions at Arena Sapiens in Florianopolis, Brazil. Di Grassi failed to finish the Sunday race, but the 25 points he collected with his victory on Saturday were enough to give him the first spot on the aggregate results even tough Felipe Massa, Rubens Barrichello and Bia Figueiredo have scored the same amount. Final positions were defined according to the race 1 order at the checkered flag.

Lucas di Grassi drove a superb race to grab the heat 1 of the International Challenge of Go-Kart Champs on Saturday night at Arena Sapiens in Florianópolis, Brazil. Still searching a seat in Formula 1 after his début for Virgin Racing in 2010, Di Grassi started on second spot and won a fierce battle against Felipe Massa and the polesitter Antonio Pizzonia, respectively second e third at the checkered flag.

Sergio Perez crushed his rivals with an unmatched display of speed on his way to a dominant win in today’s feature race in Abu Dhabi, securing second place in the championship as he easily led the way home, greeting the chequered flag over twenty seconds ahead of Oliver Turvey and Sam Bird.
