ACT Teams will receive over $100,000 in point fund awards

Eddie MacDonald Wins Thrilling ACT Invitational at NHMS

ACT InvitationalEddie MacDonald of Rowley, Massachusetts claimed his second American Canadian Tour Invitational after a thrilling battle with Barre, Vermont’s Nick Sweet at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH on Saturday, September 24. MacDonald and Sweet swapped the lead four times over the final 15 laps of the 50 mile event on the “Magic Mile.”

Taylor wins Beech Ridge Battle for first ACT victory

The 150 lap event saw just three cautions

ACT logoBeech Ridge Motor Speedway logoFarmington, ME’s Jeff Taylor claimed his first career ACT win after a race long battle with Wayne Helliwell, Jr. in the Beech Ridge 150 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, ME on Saturday, July 30. Taylor and Helliwell, both in Ford powered rides, swapped the lead seven times from lap 44 to the checkers. The two battled not only themselves but also heavy lapped traffic during long green flag runs.

The defending track champion came from his 8th starting position to take the lead from Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. on lap 91. Hayward claims First ACT Tour win at Twin State (+results)

Hayward is now the ninth ACT competitor to earn himself an invite to the second annual ACT Invitational

2010 American Canadian Tour - ACTNewport, NH’s Mark Hayward earned his first career ACT Late Model Tour win at Twin State Speedway in Claremont, NH on Friday, July 30. Hayward took the lead from Twin State regular Aaron Fellows, who led the first 52 laps of the 100 lap event. Brent Dragon Wins Second Annual Showdown at Chaudiere (+results)

Dragon has already qualified for the ACT Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

Milton’s Brent Dragon dominates the final half of the second annual Showdown at Chaudiere 200 at Autodrome Chaudiere and leads the U.S. team to the overall victory. The first 91 laps saw a battle between former Serie ACT Castrol champion Karl Allard and current ACT Tour point leader Scott Payea.

ACT Tour announces $250,000 ‘Money Month’ for Late Models teams

Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. wins CARQUEST Governor’s Cup 150 (+results)

First career win at Thunder Road International Speedbowl

Young Joey “Pole” Polewarczyk, Jr. of Hudson, NH scores his first career win at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in the CARQUEST Governor’s Cup 150. Pole got by Jamie Fisher to take the lead shortly after a restart with just under 100 laps to go. Nick Sweet then worked his way to second and setup the battle of the race. Pole and Sweet ran side by side and worked their way through lap traffic before a lap 145 caution staged a shootout for the win. Read the rest of this entry »
