After NHMS Test and Tune

The American Canadian Tour completed their annual Test and Tune session at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Wednesday, August 29. A total of 27 teams took advantage of the test session in preparation for the fourth annual Bond Auto ACT Invitational scheduled for Saturday, September 22. Teams completed over six hours of practice including two simulation heat races with no issues or wrecks.












The ACT Late Model Tour and Série ACT Castrol combined Can-Am 200 at Circuit Riverside Speedway in Ste-Croix, QC scheduled for Saturday, August 27 has been postponed due to rain.

The 25 year-old American Canadian Tour announces over $1 million in purses and prize funds for its touring events in 2011. ACT releases 2011 schedules for its two Late Model touring series; the American-based ACT Late Model Tour and the Canadian-based Série ACT Castrol Edge. Schedules consist of 12 events for both tours including three combination events plus several non-point counting special events.
Laperle earned his second consecutive ACT Late Model Tour win
Brian Hoar won the Circuit Riverside Speedway Can-Am combination Série ACT Castrol Edge and ACT Late Model Tour event on Saturday, August 14. Hoar, the current ACT Late Model Tour point leader, fought his way by current Série ACT Castrol Edge point leader Karl Allard on lap 94 and led the remainder of the event. The scheduled 200 lap event had to be cut back to 171 due to a curfew.
