Pierre Ragues and Nelson Panciatici set for 2013 ELMS and Le Mans 24 Hours with Signatech and Alpine
Today, at half-past eleven, Pierre Fillon, President of the ‘Automobile Club de l’Ouest’, and Carlos Tavares, Renault General Director and Chief Operating Officer, announced this year’s return of ALPINE both to Endurance racing and to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with SIGNATECH as partner.

Lotus will race with two cars in the 2013 FIA World Endurance Championship, which includes the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The FIA and the Automobile Club de l’Ouest have announced the competitors for the FIA World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans at today’s press conference in Paris. Lotus got two entries for the FIA WEC and the 24 Hours of Le Mans to run with the new Lotus T128 in LMP2 class.

The accomplishments by three of the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón’s best in 2012 is already reaping rewards for 2013. Level 5 Motorsports, Conquest Endurance and Extreme Speed Motorsports each received invitations today to next year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans.

As the first hybrid vehicle to win Le Mans
The Audi R18 e-tron quattro, supported by Williams Hybrid Power’s (WHP) innovative electric flywheel technology, has won the 80th running of the 24 hours of Le Mans and in the process made history as the first hybrid powered vehicle to finish on the podium.

Nighttime produces danger
American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón teams hit trouble as the sun went down on the 80th 24 Hours of Le Mans. Both Corvette Racing and Flying Lizard Motorsports lost the lead in their respective classes.

First qualifying session in the books for race’s 80th running
The 80th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans began in earnest today with the first of three qualifying sessions at the 8.469-mile circuit in the Sarthe region of France. The American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón was well represented, with two teams on the provisional pole position in their class.

French racer Franck Mailleux has today confirmed his participation in the 2012 World Endurance Championship with Signatech-Nissan. Franck will be taking part in the LMP2 category of the new WEC together with the team as reigning LMP2 champions of last season’s Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (ILMC).
