F2000 : Mid-Ohio added as the 2010 season-finale
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course has been added to the 2010 F2000 Championship Series schedule
As the season-finale over Labor Day weekend of September 3 to 5. The historic road course in Ohio was home to the season-finale in 2009, where Chris Miller clinched the championship with a win on Sunday afternoon, followed by the series banquet at the Roadhouse Restaurant.
“When the date at NJMP was changed and conflicted with the SCCA National Championships at Road America, we were pleased to be able to arrange a more than suitable replacement event at Mid Ohio,†commented F2000 Managing Director Michael Rand. “We will finish our season at one of the great tracks east of the Mississippi over Labor Day weekend to top off the best schedule we have had to date.”
Mid-Ohio replaced New Jersey Motorsports Park as the season-finale, with a noted new date of September 3-5.
