Nelson Piquet Monaco Kart CupNelson Piquet will be going head-to-head with seven-time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher next weekend (18-22 November) at the Superkarts USA Super Nationals kart race, which will be held in Las Vegas in the grounds of the Rio All-Suites and Casino Complex.

Piquet will be racing for the Intrepid team and will join Schumacher, Toro Rosso’s Sebastien Buemi and some of the world’s best rated karters in the SuperPro KZ2 category, racing in 125cc shifter karts with six-speed gearboxes. These karts can accelarate from 0-60mph in four seconds, with top speeds reaching in excess of 120mph.

Intrepid Kart Technology is a leading company in engineering and manufacturing innovative racing karts for both business trading and racing. Its racing team has had great success on both a national and international level, with wins in the Asia Pacific Japan, the KART TRIAD national championships, the Italian championship and previous victories in two classes at the SKUSA Supernationals.
