Auto GP is born
The richest racing Series in Europe with a 1.200.000 euros prize
Earn money by racing, get on track and fight for a total prize of 1.200.000 euros. That’s the concept behind Auto GP. A simple rule, very well known and used often by American promoters, that has until now struggled to find its place in European feeder series.
In recent years, Europe has seen the birth of various racing series that allow the drivers to test themselves, but how many of these championships can really show the driver’s talent? How many give a driver the chance to earn a considerable amount of money thanks to that talent.
Auto GP has been born to answer those questions. It will allow drivers to race at a very low cost, 380.000 euros for a full season, whilst offering an unparalleled prize in the history of European racing, 200.000 euros for each of the six events on the series calendar.
But that isn’t all; Auto GP will feature a unique management system based on the accurate selection of drivers and teams. With just 18 seats available, only the best drivers will be selected from those who apply for an entry.
That’s because the best drivers will be needed to master the car. Auto GP will boast a Lola B05/52 chassis, powered by a 3.4 litre V8 engine with 550 bhp of maximum power.
Impressive figures which, based on performance, launch this new series right on the tail of GP2 and ahead of anything else racing in Europe.
The calibre of the championship is confirmed by the calendar; six events on some of the best circuits in Europe, visiting five different countries.
This includes Monza, Spa Franchorchamps and PortimĂŁo to name just a few, circuits that guarantee the right mix of tradition and modernity.
The future of motor racing is here, you just have to sign up.
