Mrs. promoter CĂ©line Gignac who had never heard of Flagworld made it clear to us that external photographers were not welcome.

” You can do a few pictures inside pit lanes but no track shots from outside the pits or pit lane”, she said.

So , as always, I obeyed orders and stayed inside pit lane a little hour just to see…  

Pascal Picotte

It was nice to see Pascal Picotte in his new role as Team owner instead of risking a new injury on the bike.

When I asked him if he was more nervous ”inside the pit lane wall” or the bike, his reply was clear:
