He receives an honorary medal

The veteran’s efforts in competition are recognized.

 

 

Jacques Villeneuve was honored Thursday by the member of Parliement for Berthier, Francois Benjamin, who presented ” Uncle Jacques” with the National Assembly medal in recognition of his perseverance and efforts for motor sports.

Jacques Villeneuve, F1 World champion in 1997 and nephew was present , a nice gesture from his part for his uncle.

Two other personalities of the Berthier region were also honored, Gilles Bellehumeur and Bob Petit also received the honor.

In the case of Petit, a snowmobile pionner, we are going to see the picture of this event for a long time in Lanaudière area!
