Second collective FR3.5 test at the Circuit de Catalunya
Alexander Rossi joined his Arden Caterham Motorsport World Series by Renault team for the second collective FR3.5 test at the Circuit de Catalunya, near Barcelona this week. However torrential rain, mixed conditions, mechanical and electrical car issues meant that the newly formed squad made limited progress into its planned running programme on either day of the test.

Pirelli returns to endurance racing this weekend with the opening round of the FIA GT1 World Championship, which this year is combined with the GT3 European Championship for the first time. Pirelli will be the sole supplier to both series, adding to the Italian firm’s illustrious portfolio of more than 50 motorsport championships all over the world.

That’s what it seems as the 1st Dallara Formula 3 car was introduced to the general public at Pole Position Magazine’s 6 Heures Enduro des Champions at Kart-O-Mania’s facility in Montréal two weeks ago. The Canadian Formula 3 Championship had the car on display adorned with decals of their Technical Partners; Dallara, Pirelli, Puma, Bosch, ATS, Taneisya, World F3rst, etc.

Ma Qing Hua joins HRT Formula 1 Team’s Driver Development Programme
HRT Formula 1 Team announces the incorporation of Chinese driver Ma Qing Hua to the Spanish team’s young driver development programme.
The formation programme designed by HRT F1 Team for Ma Qing Hua includes professional assessment in his career as a driver, private tests with cars from different categories and simulator tests. If the results of the partnership are satisfactory, Qing Hua could take to the wheel of the F112 at the Formula 1 Young Driver test.

Damon Hill has changed his mind yet again on the controversial issue of Bahrain’s return to formula one later this month.
