Robichon will represent the ECKC at the Indy Scouting Combine.
The overwhelming jewels of the 2011 Eastern Canadian Karting Championship awards package were trips to the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals for class champions in Junior, Senior and DD2. Following that came an incredible opportunity to be among a very select few to attend the Mazda Road to Indy Scouting Combine. As one event draws to a close this weekend, the other will be getting set to begin, and it’s a fact that had ECKC officials with a dilemma on their hands just a few weeks ago.

A damning report into the unrest in Bahrain earlier this year does not endanger the Kingdom’s return to formula one in 2012.
That is the claim of F1 chief executive Bernie Ecclestone, as further turmoil kicked off in Bahrain surrounding the release of the report confirming the government was heavy-handed with its citizens this year.

A growing rift between Robert Kubica and the Renault team has deepened further.
After Renault this week announced the injured Pole will not be ready for the start of 2012, Kubica’s manager Daniele Morelli accused the team of twisting his words and indicated he is looking around for a different employer.

He insists his F1 career is not dead yet, but a future in the German touring car series DTM looks more likely for Nick Heidfeld.
The veteran of 183 grands prix lost his race seat at Renault earlier this year and has barely featured in the 2012 ‘silly season’. “I can also imagine doing something different,” the 34-year-old German acknowledged to DPA news agency.

Red Bull FMX riders top shows for ROC 2011
Highlights include the Lotus Renault GP two-seater F1 car, rally legend Stig Blomqvist in the Audi S1, Chris Pfeiffer Streetbike Freestyle Rider and stunt driver Terry Grant’s world record attempt for driving on two wheels. The shows run alongside the main event, the Race Of Champions, whose line-up includes three Formula 1 world champions.
Today was an important day because at the end, 128 of the 264 participants of this 2011 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals would have to put an end to their dream to become Rotax champion.
The F2000 Championship Series 2012 schedule will see the popular tour visit seven different tracks in North America, with double race weekends at each.
Following a successful inaugural 10-race run in 2011, the F1600 Formula F Championship Series will keep the momentum, expanding to 14 races in 2012, over seven double-race weekends.
