New Zealander Chris Vlok is the Formula Tour 1600 Series rookie of the year driving his BGR Team Grote Van Diemen.
He finished fourth overall in the points narrowly missing 3rd with his 5th podium of the year at the fnal round at the Le Circuit Mont Tremblant. Entering the final weekend the rookie driver was still in contention for a top 3 placing in the Championship but a tough race on Saturday which saw him spin but recover to finish 10th meant it was a long shot to overtake 3rd in the points.







Reigning 2011 Canadian National Rotax Max Junior Champion, and Team Canada driver Jesse Lazare shows no sign of slowing down after being crowned Canadian Champion. The 14-year-old recently was on the podium in France at the Rotax Euro Challenge – the first Canadian to ever be on a podium in the Euro Challenge – and last weekend added the title of Pan Am Rotax Junior Champion with a solid win at New Castle, Indiana.





















It’s a really magic moment for Luca Filippi: with an amazing second half of 2011 with Scuderia Coloni, the Italian driver took second place in the GP2 overall classification, ending the season on a high with a win on home soil in Monza, performances that made him the driver that everybody wants for 2012.
