Radon Rn.10 chassis #001 is officially set for its debut following a full-day shakedown test in Monticello, New York, earlier this week.
The new F2000 Championship Series car, which has been under development by Radon Sport LLC since 2009, and subject of much speculation, will be under the GTP Motorsports awning at Mosport and is scheduled to be driven by returning F2000 driver Blake Teeter, who last competed at VIR in 2010.

The first weekend of October 2011, Montréal will be Off-Road
The Supermotocross Monster Energy – the most exciting off-road motorsport event of the year – will be held Saturday October 1st at the Montréal Olympic Stadium. Non-stop action, adrenaline rush, and excitement will all be part of the show for the 34th running of this spectacular event. Tickets will go on sale Saturday, July 16th at noon. Lombardi Honda will test the ECKC DD2 and Senior Champions
On the eve of its 2011 Championship weekend comes word of two new awards for Eastern Canadian Karting Championship drivers. Both the DD2 Champion and Rotax Senior Champion will receive half-day tests with championship winning Lombardi Honda Racing. The awards will see the two ECKC Champions on track at Circuit ICAR this September and behind the wheel of reigning Canadian Champion Honda Civics.

Round 9: German GP – Free Practice One & Two
After the opening two free practice sessions of the German Grand Prix, it is San Carlo Honda Gresini’s Marco Simoncelli who sits at the top of the timesheets just 0.095seconds ahead of Jorge Lorenzo as the pair traded the top spot for much of the afternoon’s 45 minutes of track time. Simoncelli recorded his best time on his final lap of the session using the softer front and rear slicks.

As the phone hacking scandal worsened, media magnate Rupert Murdoch pulled the plug on News’ UK tabloid News of the World and then dropped plans to buy the rest of BskyB. And the implications continue to unfold, with News International chief executive Rebekah Brooks resigning and the billionaire Murdoch facing official investigations in the UK and potentially also the US and Australia.

It’s still Lazarus on top in Donington, as the Italian team topped the sheets again in the second Free Practice session.
If in the first session Fabrizio Crestani was the quickest, this time the team boasted a one-two, with Fabio Onidi emerging as the quickest with 1’17”206, a laptime that left his team mate 2 tenths adrift. Behind them was Samuele Buttarelli, who confirmed the impressive morning shape with a 1’17”861 that was enough to keep at bay the SuperNova pair.

GP2 Series™ official partner to offer prize money to best GP3 graduates at Yas Marina Circuit
As announced by the Series organisers on Tuesday, after the 2011 GP2 Series™ current season concludes in Monza on September 10-11, Yas Marina Circuit will host a single event on November 12-13, called the 2011 GP2 Final which will take place alongside the penultimate Formula One™ Grand Prix of the season.

Fabrizio Crestani and Lazarus started the Donington weekend in the best possible way.
The Italian driver posted the fastest time in the first Free Practice, being the only one to break the 1’18 mark with 1’17”841. The team managed by Tancredi Pagiaro crowned a very good performance with a third place by Fabio Onidi, less than 3 tenths adrift from his team mate. In between them was Kevin Ceccon, at his first experience in Donington but already at ease with the Ombra Racing car.

The winner of 31 grands prix was the driver steward at Silverstone last weekend, where Fernando Alonso seemed to break through Red Bull’s dominance at the half-way point in the 2011 world championship.

Virgin has dismissed speculation it may lose Jerome d’Ambrosio’s services and backing for the 2012 season.
The Belgian rookie’s manager, Renault team boss Eric Boullier, said at Silverstone that he will talk about the 25-year-old’s future with Virgin “and another team at the Nurburgring”. But Virgin team president Graeme Lowdon dismissed the reports.

Cosworth is staying in formula one and designing a V6 engine even though it only has two customers for 2012.
Team Lotus switched to Renault power last year and Williams is following suit for 2012, leaving struggling Virgin and Hispania as the only Cosworth teams on the grid. The independent Northampton based engine maker said when it returned to F1 in 2010 that it needed a minimum number of customers to make its programme viable.
