F2000 Championship Series…
With three wins in this season’s six events, Quebec driver Rémy Audette is set to participate in this weekend’s two rounds of the F2000 Championship Series, as overall series leader. This time it’s at the Mid-Ohio circuit, a track that Audette enjoys and looks forward to with ambitions of yet another victory.

Bridgestone MotoGP Round preview
The fast and flowing Mugello circuit is a fan favourite but particularly demanding on tyres because of the high speed, heavy braking and marked elevation changes. In response, and as part of work to ensure ongoing improvement, this year Bridgestone will bring asymmetric rear slick tyres to the 5.245km Italian venue.

Valencia will be the only Spanish date on next year’s formula one calendar.
That was the claim on Tuesday of Radio Valencia as well as Cadena SER, the premier Spanish radio network. The reports said Valencia, the Spanish port city and host of last Sunday’s European grand prix, will take on the mantle of the Spanish grand prix in 2012 and beyond.

Sebastien Buemi is now the Toro Rosso driver under pressure after two strong races by his teammate Jaime Alguersuari. Alguersuari was besieged at Valencia by widespread speculation that he will soon lose his race cockpit to the promising Australian Daniel Ricciardo.

There are management changes afoot at the back-of-the-grid HRT team.
It was rumoured at Valencia last weekend that Geoff Willis, the Spanish team’s technical director, could soon move into a higher management position. At the same time, Germany’s motorsport-total.com reports that Gary Savage, formerly a close colleague of Willis’ at BAR/Honda some years ago, is close to signing on at HRT in a senior technical post.
