Ostella was in the thick of the action on Crescent Street in Montrea
The Firestone Indy Lights Championship resumes this coming weekend as David Ostella and his Jensen Motorsport team are headed to Wisconsin for the David Hobbs 100 at the Milwaukee Mile. The second of three consecutive oval starts and fifth round of the 2011 schedule, Ostella’s Global Precast machine is primed for action and the young Canadian is ready to roll.

Ryan Tveter enjoyed a successful debut in the Formula Tour 1600
Jensen MotorSport development driver Ryan Tveter enjoyed a successful debut in the Formula Tour 1600 championship racing with the stars and cars of Formula One at the famous Montreal Grand Prix circuit this past weekend. Tveter, a 17 year old from Oyster Bay, New York, finished an impressive 10th position (out of 44 cars) in the F1600 race competition on Saturday June 11th.

Taylor returns triumphant
Deeley Harley-Davidson® Canada-sponsored flat track racer, Donald Taylor, made a successful return to Canadian dirt track racing in the Expert Open Division of the Canadian Motorcycle Association-hosted first round of the Dirt Track National Championships. Taking first place in a hard-fought 15-lap final gives Taylor an early points lead in his quest for his seventh CMA number one plate.

Ross Brawn has admitted Mercedes GP is currently too weak technically to take on F1′s traditional grandee teams.
The German squad, formerly run as Brawn GP following Honda’s exit at the end of 2008, had hoped to compete for wins in 2010 as Michael Schumacher entered the second year of his F1 comeback.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Kubica was operated yet again on Tuesday.
Nick Heidfeld has admitted he would like to keep racing a Renault even if Robert Kubica is able to return from injury some time soon. Kubica’s manager Daniele Morelli told the Italian press this week that the Pole might be fit enough to target a comeback in late November’s Interlagos finale.

Marc Gene has defended his countryman Jaime Alguersuari, arguing the young Spaniard is ready to prove himself in formula one. With Daniel Ricciardo almost certain to move up to a Toro Rosso race seat in 2011, it is suggested that Alguersuari is the most likely to move over given his recent struggles with the Ferrari-powered STR6.
