Bruno Spengler will be facing a difficult task
Scot Paul Di Resta has secured himself the best position for the battle for the 2010 DTM title. The Mercedes-Benz driver did the best job in the action-packed qualifying of the DTM season finale at the narrow 2.465 kilometres long street circuit in Shanghai and will be starting from pole position on Sunday at 8.23 h (CET).

The world seemed to stand still this afternoon in Berlin, although actually the opposite was the case. At the Brandenburg Gate there was confetti in the sky, a screaming Formula One racing car, a speechless Sebastian Vettel and thrilled motorsport fans.

Rapax driver goes quickest again on day 4 of post season testing at Yas Marina Circuit
It was a trouble-free test session today at Yas Marina Circuit for the third day of post season testing which saw eight drivers join ths paddock – Alexander Sims at ART Grand Prix, Brendon Hartley at Racing Engineering, Rio Haryanto at iSport International, Romain Grosjean at Dams, Davide Rigon at Rapax, Alexander Rossi at Arden International, Karun Chandhok at Ocean Racing Technology and Adrian Quaife-Hobbs at Scuderia Coloni.

“I’m feeling it now, bit painful, it was a good whacking”
Bernie Ecclestone was kicked unconscious by his muggers and on Saturday was sporting a very badly bruised eye. The 80-year-old F1 chief executive told British newspapers his minor injuries are “painful” but he is “ok” after a group of men attacked him whilst outside his office with his girlfriend in London.

In talks about returning to the F1 grid full-time in 2011.
Karun Chandhok has clarified that, despite a spate of GP2 testing, he remains committed to returning to formula one in 2011. The Indian driver tested with his former GP2 team ORT in France last week, and this week in Abu Dhabi he is scheduled to do more running with the team as well as Coloni.

Consistent Podium Finisher to Pair with Carroll for Championship Run
Hot on the heels of the announcement of the drivers of the team’s #74 car, Compass360 Racing today revealed that Keith Carroll will pair with Ryan Eversley in the #75 Honda Civic Si for the 2011 Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge season. Eversley, who finished fourth driving #75 in last year’s Street Tuner-class driver standings will co-drive with Carroll, no stranger to the Grand-Am paddock, having driven a Porsche Cayman in 2010.
