Mercedes GP looks set to secure another sponsor.
The German source sponsors.de reports that Allianz, the Munich based global insurance group, will soon be added to the livery of the Silver Arrows. Previously, the company invested about EUR 10 million in formula one through its trackside sponsorship programme, in addition to a 750,000 sponsor deal with Williams.







With the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 season finale held at the home base of Magnus Racing – the expansive Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah – it was no surprise that half of the event attendance was made up of visitors of the Magnus Racing hospitality area. 

The MotoGP paddock travels to the Spanish Motorland Aragon circuit for round 13 and for the second time this season, after the British GP at Silverstone, Bridgestone are faced with the challenge of preparing tyres for an entirely new venue. 








Jesse Lazare was back in action this past weekend at the penultimate round of the Coupe de Montreal, and the newly nationally ranked #1 Rotax Junior driver was determined to show that he deserved that ranking.
The final race of this year’s Le Mans Series, was more than sufficient to secure an unprecedented second set of LMP2 titles for RML AD Group. With a total of 75 points, the team’s regular pairing of Mike Newton and Thomas Erdos reclaim the drivers’ title they last won in 2007, while RML also collect the 2010 LMP2 team title.
Aston Martin Racing factory driver Sam Hancock ended the 2010 Le Mans Series season with fourth place overall and best of the petrol-powered cars at the Silverstone 1000kms.
The Subaru team of Patrick Richard and co-driver Alan Ockwell took second place in the 2010 Rallye Defi. Even though the team pushed hard and won half the competitive stages, they were never able to close the time deficit after a flat tire early in the race. The victory went to Antoine L’Estage and co-driver Nathalie Richard.
Despite a frustrating end to the 2010 Le Mans Series season at his home race, the Silverstone 1000kms, Kent-based racing driver Phil Quaife has spoken of his delight at a strong rookie year in one of the world’s premier sportscar endurance racing championships.
The final eight (8) teams have been notified that they will be invited to attend this coming weekend’s second annual ACT Invitational at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH.
For the remaining six races in the Italian F3 Championship, Eleonora Marcone, the team’s sporting director, has announced.
