Two more Quebecers among the new invitees

The American Canadian Tour (ACT) has announced another round of invited teams who have been invited to participate in the second ACT Invitational to be held at the regions largest sporting complex, the New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) on Saturday, September 18, 2010.






The most popular fall sporting event in Quebec has a new name. As of now, the great fall extravaganza that will, on October 2, bring together close to 50,000 motocross fans at the Montreal Olympic Stadium will be known as the Supermotocross Monster Energy presented by Coors Light and Parts Canada/Thor.
Some of the most exciting racing the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 has to offer comes within the cozy confines of the .333-mile tri-oval of Barrie (Ont.) Speedway. 
After a two-month break in the Canadian Rally Championship calendar, that was put to good use by Antoine L’Estage and Nathalie Richard as they became the 2010 Rally America Champions and won a bronze medal at the popular ESPN Summer X Games, the Rockstar Energy Drink Royal Group team will be back in competition this weekend for the Rallye Défi (September 10 & 11), round four of six in the Canadian championship. 



Kamui Kobayashi will again line up for Peter Sauber’s team in the FIA Formula One World Championship in 2011. He has made it into the top ten qualifying on three occasions. 


Mark Webber is not ruling out his chances of a good result this weekend, despite the fact Monza is not expected to particularly suit Red Bull’s RB6. After proving the most consistently competitive car of the season, Red Bull’s dominance waned slightly on the long straights of Spa-Francorchamps, where Australian Webber finished second and lost his championship lead to Lewis Hamilton.
