Red Bull Jordan Rally preview

He drove his Walker Racing, Dean Knight, SiM1GP.com car in an action packed event.Starting from 8th after struggling in the two practice and qualifying sessions to find the set up with his new team and new to Indy Lights’ engineer, Jonathan again became the talk of the paddock.

McEwan was a rain master on Sunday
Prime Kartsport certainly went out in style at the 2010 Florida Winter Tour a week ago as the first-year operation produced its best weekend to date. The CRG squad ran to five podiums at Ocala Gran Prix, and now heads to the Canadian karting season with incredible momentum and in the highest of spirits.

The GP3 Series was back on track today for the start of the second official pre-season test in Le Castellet.
Temperatures were low at just 9°C this morning as the second official GP3 Series collective opened at Paul Ricard in the South of France, but fortunately the session stayed dry and all 29 young drivers were able to take to the track within the first hour. The three hour long morning session on a 3D configuration track of 3.853 kms was incident free, and a total of 984 laps were completed.

All three rookie racers earned top-10s in their series debut
JDC MotorSports showed its championship potential during the season-opening doubleheader of the Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda this weekend (March 27), with top-10 finishes by all-three of its drivers on the demanding St. Petersburg street circuit.

For the 2010 Ontario Formula Ford Championship
16 year old Ayrton Triolo will join the team for his first full season after testing for the 2009 season in the team’s F1200 program. A successful FF test in the fall with BGR prompted the step up. Preseason testing will commence at Shannonville Motorsports Park April 23-24.

GMG Racing got their 2010 World Challenge season off in almost the perfect way
Two of the team’s Porsche 911 GT3’s crossed the finish line in St. Petersburg first and second on Sunday, grabbing their first win of the year. Dino Crescentini, in the No.4 Centric Parts/Stoptech/GMG Porsche 911 GT3 led teammate and team owner James Sofronas in the No.14 GMG Porsche 911 GT3 for the first one-two finish in the team’s history.

To pilot 2nd FAZZT Indy 500 entry
Former Indianapolis 500 Pole Winner Bruno Junqueira has been announced as the driver of the FAZZT Race Teams’ #33 entry for the 2010 Indianapolis 500. Junqueira will join the teams’ full season driver Alex Tagliani in a second car for the 94th running of the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 30, 2010.
Citroen’s Sebastien Loeb led the way on Wednesday morning in the shakedown for the Jordan Rally, the third round in the 2010 World Rally Championship, 0.1 seconds up on his team-mate, Dani Sordo and Petter Solberg.
