Today, the new Silver Arrows Formula One works team MERCEDES GP PETRONAS was presented at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. Nico Rosberg and seven-time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher along with team management Ross Brawn, Nick Fry and Norbert Haug were introduced to guests with a presentation and press conference.

Bahrain track lengthened for 2010 race
Bahrain will likely not host a sell-out crowd at March’s formula one season opener. The desert Kingdom has taken over from Melbourne for 2010 as the venue of the first race of the season, but it has not been enough of a boost to ensure entirely full grandstands.

Toro Rosso confirms 1 February launch – Buemi to give new Toro Rosso track debut
Jaime Alguersuari’s contract is in the hands of Toro Rosso for a five-year period, it has emerged. Following confirmation of the Spaniard’s renewed tenure with the Italian team for 2010, his management said Toro Rosso is the “owner” of Alguersuari’s Red Bull contract for five years.

The launch of the 2010 Mercedes GP team concluded on Monday without mention of Nick Heidfeld as reserve driver. Reports at the weekend suggested the 32-year-old German had been signed to the role, but team boss Ross Brawn said a final decision is yet to be taken.
