Following on from yesterday’s wet start to Michael Schumacher’s GP2 development test in Jerez, today’s similar state of the circuit did not allow him to run on slicks until 10.30, and even then the track was never dry enough to be quick. The Mercedes GP PETRONAS driver completed 78 laps in total today, including 53 on slick tyres.
The second class for our Top 10 presentations is Mini Max. In the category of karting classes for 9-12 year olds the Mini Max class is the fastest class with a 125cc restricted 2 cycle motor producing 13.6 horsepower. The design of the class is to teach drivers and pit crews the importance of driver ability and chassis tuning. 



The Renault F1 Team is pleased to announce the beginning of a three-year technical partnership with OMP Racing, the motorsport clothing and equipment supplier based in Italy. 
Campos could release Bruno Senna so that the Brazilian rookie can sign for the 2010 season with Toro Rosso. Citing Brazilian sources, that information was reported by Italy’s Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport publications, in the wake of claims that the new Spanish team is struggling to compile a full budget for its formula one debut. 
Far from securing the vacant Toro Rosso seat, Mirko Bortolotti has in fact been ousted from Red Bull’s driver development programme.
Williams will not stage a formal launch event prior to the track debut of its 2010 single seater, it has emerged. The Cosworth-powered FW32 is scheduled to run for the first time at the Valencia group test at the beginning of next month.
