The many navigation mistakes of his contenders allowed Marc Coma to finish with the best time of the day in the bike category and to move up four places in the overall standings. Moreover Italian rider Luca Manca, who was ranking ninth this morning in the overall standings, had to be evacuated from the track after a very serious fall in the early hours of the stage.

Campana to compete on Monte Carlo rally
The oldest and most prestigious event in the history of the sport
Frenchman Pierre Campana will compete on the Monte Carlo Rally from January 19-23. Once more the young Corsican will drive a Renault Clio R3 run by the Italian Munaretto team, which he drove to category victory on the Sanremo Rally in September and took to third overall in the 2009 West European Clio Trophy – despite only participating in two events.

The first official practice day for the 2010 American Le Mans Series is now 10 weeks away. So to help get your motor running for the new season, let’s take a look back at 2009 – starting of course at Sebring. 
Series officials have confirmed that the F1000 National Championship presented by George Dean Racing Engines and Taylor Race Engineering will return in 2010. 
Rumours indicate that the Hinwil based team will sign a sponsorship contract to promote Nespresso, a coffee subsidiary of the well-known foods company Nestle.

Kubica’s teammate unlikely to be French – Boullier

Robert Kubica’s teammate at Renault in 2010 is not likely to be a Frenchman, Eric Boullier has admitted. The Enstone based team, recently taken over by Luxembourg based investment company Genii Capital, has installed the 36-year-old Frenchman as its new permanent boss.
