Alonso ‘better’ for Ferrari than Raikkonen – boss
Fisi to ‘definitely’ be 2010 Ferrari reserve
Fernando Alonso is arriving at Ferrari because the famous Italian team needs a race driver in the Michael Schumacher-mould. That is the admission of team boss Stefano Domenicali, as he contemplates Ferrari’s 2010 season after deciding to replace the rally-bound Kimi Raikkonen with Spaniard Alonso.

New streamlined SKUSA class line-up to make debut in 2010
When the new year comes around the corner in January, Superkarts! USA will see the first two of their five regional series come back to life in California. The ProKart Challenge North and South programs will be the first to get back into the swing of things, and they will be greeted by a slightly evolved class structure that will better support the organization’s Stock Moto program.

Ecclestone believes Renault to stay in F1
Bernie Ecclestone has played down reports that Renault is set to withdraw from formula one.
It emerged on Thursday that officials of the French carmaker were meeting in Paris to discuss the foray, amid reports that Prodrive/David Richards and Mangrove/Gravity will take over the Enstone facility with Renault remaining an engine supplier.

Jensen named team owner of the year
Jensen MotorSport lead driver Markus Niemela scored seven top-fives in 2009

Owner/driver Eric Jensen has been named the 2009 Cooper Tires presents the Atlantic Championship powered by Mazda Team Owner of the Year. Jensen MotorSport and the Jensen name have been mainstays in the Atlantic Championship paddock for many of the series’ 36 years of competition.

NASCAR: Penske names crew chiefs for Keselowski
Jay Guy named Brad Keselowski’s crew chief in Cup series
Jay Guy will be the crew chief for Brad Keselowski’s #12 Sprint Cup Series team, Penske Racing announced earlier this week. Guy most recently worked as the crew chief on the #78 Furniture Row Racing car driven by Regan Smith. Guy also has been a crew chief in the Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series.

RMC Grand Finals: presentation of the DD2 drivers
This year expect good results with Frank Launi, Daniel Morad, Scott Campbell, Darren White and Kyle Stevens.
Once again, Team Canada will be in force in the DD2 class, not only because of the number of drivers (5), but by the quality of the drivers. Last year, two Canadian drivers in DD2 finished in the top 7 (Pier-Luc Ouellette 2nd, and Christophe Boisclair 7th) while Scott Campbell and Darren White also qualified for the final round.
