Chris Miller now touts a huge 30 point margin in the championship over Matthew Inge. Inge said: “The car was so much better than yesterday with the wing package St. Clair put on. I think I could have put it on pole but was pushing way too hard and just lost it in one, ending my session.”

At the 3.629 kilometres long Nürburgring sprint circuit
British driver Alexander Sims (Mücke Motorsport) scored his maiden victory in the Formula 3 Euro Series. Already before the first corner, the Mücke driver, who won the McLaren Autosport BRDC Young Driver Award last year, overtook Christian Vietoris (Mücke Motorsport), who eventually came home second. Mika Mäki (Signature) completed the top three. In the points’ standings after twelve races, leader Jules Bianchi (ART Grand Prix) has a margin of 25 points over Vietoris. Bianchi finished fifth in the Eifel race on Sunday.

Audette recovered to finish third
Benjamin Searcy and Z-Sports took their third win of the F2000 season at Mid-Ohio, Searcy held second spot for most of the race before a late race spin by leader Remy Audette gave him the lead and ultimately the victory. Tim Minor finished second, coming off a win at Summit Point.
Julien Jousse, who started on pole position, took a dominant maiden victory in race two of the FIA Formula Two Championship at Donington Park this afternoon (Sunday).
