With the media ready to pounce on any new development, Michael Schumacher has immediately ruled out claims he did not travel to Belgium this weekend because he is stepping up preparations to return to formula one.

The organisers of the Belgian grand prix have confirmed that annually alternating their formula one race with the Nurburgring is an option for the future. 

Two separate incidents that occurred at the Les Combes corner were investigated by stewards: one between Jenson Button and Romain Grosjean, and another after which both Lewis Hamilton and Jaime Alguersuari also both retired from the race. 
The sun is back this Sunday morning at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Ile Notre-Dame for the presentation of the third edition of the NASCAR Nationwide NAPA 200 that will be preceeded by the NASCAR Canadian Tire NAPA 100.
