The third edition NASCAR Nationwide race at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve
This is a salute to the extraordinary weekend that Francois Dumontier and his team put together in Montreal this past weekend. There was so much to say, so much to see, so many people to thank for the great opportunity we had covering this spectacular event of the weekend that time was not available last night to complete our report.

CJM Racing gets back on track with a season high finish of third in Montreal
NASCAR went international over the weekend and with the trip north of the border, CJM Racing turned their luck around. Native Canadian driver, Andrew Ranger was enlisted to drive the No. 11 RIDEMAKERZ Toyota and the young driver would not disappoint. With top speeds in practice, a top-10 qualifying run and the team’s first top-five finish of the season; the trip to Montreal proved to be a success and a long awaited one.

Force India expects Ferrari to move on Fisichella
Despite the uncooperativeness of the Indian sports ministry, Vijay Mallya is sure plans for a grand prix in the country remain on track. Following a request for funding by the organisers of a 2011 round of the world championship, the government department ruled that formula one is in fact not a sport.

Swear out a warrant. On second thought, break out the champagne. Carl Edwards’ grand larceny Sunday at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve ended with a back flip and a celebration, not a jail term.

Button nonetheless said Grosjean was “100 per cent to blame” for the crash
Jenson Button was unimpressed with F1′s newest rookie after the pair crashed out of the Belgian grand prix. The Brawn driver’s title lead over his teammate Rubens Barrichello and Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel shrank by 2 and 6 points respectively on Sunday, when multiple cars tangled at the Les Combes corner on lap one.

Dragon has already qualified for the ACT Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway
Milton’s Brent Dragon dominates the final half of the second annual Showdown at Chaudiere 200 at Autodrome Chaudiere and leads the U.S. team to the overall victory. The first 91 laps saw a battle between former Serie ACT Castrol champion Karl Allard and current ACT Tour point leader Scott Payea.

No drivers were penalised for the crashes on the first lap of Sunday’s Belgian grand prix
Two separate incidents that occurred at the Les Combes corner were investigated by stewards: one between Jenson Button and Romain Grosjean, and another after which both Lewis Hamilton and Jaime Alguersuari also both retired from the race.

Major accident ends the NASCAR Canadian Tire NAPA 100
Everybody was looking forward to the presentation of the NASCAR Canadian Tire NAPA 100 hoping for another victory for Andrew Ranger, winner of the last three races on road course in Mosport, Edmonton and Trois-Rivières.

With the media ready to pounce on any new development, Michael Schumacher has immediately ruled out claims he did not travel to Belgium this weekend because he is stepping up preparations to return to formula one. 
The FIA has confirmed it will investigate claims that Nelson Piquet was ordered to deliberately crash during last year’s Singapore grand prix. 
Canada’s James Hinchcliffe crashed out of the penultimate round of the 2009 Firestone Indy Lights Series at Chicagoland Speedway on Saturday, 29th August, as he was collected in the aftermath of a separate incident on the 1.5-mile oval. 
The 2010 Cooper Tires Presents The Atlantic Championship Powered by Mazda will again team up with the American Le Mans Series and be sanctioned by the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) in 2010. 
A solution has reportedly been found so that Hockenheim will stage the German grand prix next year. 
The organisers of the Belgian grand prix have confirmed that annually alternating their formula one race with the Nurburgring is an option for the future. 
The sun is back this Sunday morning at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Ile Notre-Dame for the presentation of the third edition of the NASCAR Nationwide NAPA 200 that will be preceeded by the NASCAR Canadian Tire NAPA 100.
