CBRT set to wrap up 2017 season

Action gets going with practice and qualifying Saturday afternoon

Canada’s Best Racing Team - CBRTCanada’s Best Racing Team (CBRT) gets back in action this weekend for the final event of the 2017 NASCAR Pinty’s Series season at Jukasa Speedway.

Formerly known as Cayuga Speedway the renovated 5/8-mile track promises to deliver plenty of excitement and drivers Larry Jackson in the #25 CBRT/Piloti Ford and Armani Williams in the #28 Race4Autism Dodge will be front and centre.

The CBRT group has been full speed ahead all summer and for General Manager Joey McColm it’s hard to believe that we’re just days away from wrapping up the season.  “I don’t know how the summer went by so quickly,” he said.  “We’ve met so many great fans each week and worked with a lot of different partners on activations, it’s been really a fun” he added.

While meeting the race fans is the enjoyable part of the day it will be serious business for both Jackson & Williams on the track for the 200-lap race.

“We had both cars out testing here last week and it was a really good learning experience for both guys” said McColm.  “This new configuration is super smooth and fast.  They’ve really done a great job on the transformation.  It’s nice to have this place back on the schedule”.

Larry Jackson will be competing in his ninth race of the 2017 campaign and has scored three top-ten results including a 7th place finish at Circuit ICAR.  This will be the fifth race of the year for Armani Williams whose highlights include posting an impressive 11th place finish in his first ever series race at Delaware Speedway.

Action gets going with practice and qualifying Saturday afternoon and the green flag waves for the final race of the season at 7:30PM ET.

This race will be broadcast on TSN Sunday October 1st at 11:30AM ET.
