Gp3 - Jack Aitken (Arden International) Arden International’s Jack Aitken led the way in Free Practice today at the Hockenheimring. The Renault Academy driver’s best laptime of 1:28.955 was one tenth faster than ART Grand Prix’s and Scuderia Ferrari Team development driver Charles Leclerc. Trident’s and Ferrari Driver Academy’s Antonio Fuoco was third.

To change gears, the driver uses the two paddles placed behind the wheel. By hitting one of the paddles, he activates complex procedures taking place deep inside the vehicle.   It’s a permanent up and down: up to 40 times per lap, a DTM driver shifts gears with the two paddles placed behind the steering wheel.
