CORE autosport Leads Prototype Challenge Team Championship

Leading the third of four segments gave Action Express 12 points at the end of three segments, matching the total of Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates. Wayne Taylor Racing is one point back, with 11. Ford and Chevrolet are tied for the lead in the Prototype Manufacturers standings with 13 points.

Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates lead the Prototype class after both the six- and 12-hour mark.

CORE autosport took over the lead in Prototype Challenge (PC), scoring 14 points to break a tie and forge a two-point lead over 8Star Motorsports.

8Star Motorsports led the first segment in PC and CORE autosport led after 12 hours.

Points in the event are awarded at the six-, 12- and 18-hour marks, as well as the finish of the season-opening Rolex 24 At Daytona. The other three events are the Mobile 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh from Florida, the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen and the Petit Le Mans Powered by Mazda.
