Karthikeyan (Super Nova) stays out front

Auto GP - Narain KarthikeyanNarain Karthikeyan (Super Nova International) confirmed to have some pace at Silverstone as He topped the second free practice session for this weekend’s Auto GP event.

The Indian set his best mark in 1’46”837, with an 0”168 margin over rookie and GP2 runner Kevin Giovesi (Ghinzani Motorsport).

Meindert van Buuren ended up less than 0.5 seconds adrift in third as he provided MP Motorsport with a convincing run. In fourth, last race’s winner Vittorio Ghirelli (Super Nova International) edged championship leader Kimiya Sat,o running for Euronova Racing, while Virtuosi UK was also off to a good team effort with Russian Max Snegirev in 6th in front of Italian Andrea Roda.

Romanian Robert Visoiu (Ghinzani Motorsport) took eight while Riccardo Agostini (MP Motorsport) and Tamas Pal Kiss (Zele Racing) rounded out the top-10.
