Andrea Roda is the first confirmed driver for the 2013 Auto GP
The Como-based 22-year-old racer signed with Virtuosi UK and will join the series’ grid from the opening round of the season, scheduled for the next 24th of March. The team, managed by Andy Roche, had lined-up Andrea during the collective test at Barcelona, displaying great control skills and improving his laptimes throughout his maiden runs on the 540-horsepower machinery.
Roda has recently completed a three-year Formula 3 stint which included the Italian and European championhsips, and will driver the same car that Pal Varhaug raced to end up as a runner-up in 2012.
