Yelloly ‘singin in the rain!’

The Formula Renault 3.5 series drivers were greeted by pouring rain.

World Series by Renault logoThey shod wet weather tyres and the session was immediately interrupted by the red flag as the track was flooded. After a 30-minute storm the weather began to improve and the session restarted. Robin Frijns, Sam Bird and Jules Bianchi set the pace on the wet track whose grip improved as they reeled off the laps.
