Massa admits ‘very close’ to new Ferrari deal

Felipe Massa has admitted he is “very close” to agreeing a new deal to stay with Ferrari in 2013.

Ecclestone considers ‘grand slam’ idea for F1

Bernie Ecclestone has revealed he is considering emulating tennis’ ‘grand slam’ concept for formula one.

Whiting gives Austin track green light for US GP

Charlie Whiting has given Austin’s new Circuit of the Americas the green light to host its inaugural US grand prix in November.

2012-06-09_0014Circuit of the AmericasWe reported on Tuesday that F1’s highest-ranking FIA official was at the brand new venue for an inspection. “Everything I’ve seen has been absolutely first class,” Whiting is quoted by the Austin American Statesman newspaper.  “Progress since last time I was here has been amazing.”
